Company Overview
LNPB is a 501(c) 3 non-profit governed under the laws of the State of California. We operate solely on donations, fundraisers and volunteer help. Through public donations we are able to rescue, vet and place in foster/adoptive/hospice homes those precious animals that are deemed "unadoptable" by most shelters. LNPB's programs are designed and intended to benefit the health and welfare of abused and abandoned animals. (EIN 45-2717681)
With the sad and ever growing abuse and neglect of animals across America, Leave No Paws Behind, Inc., a California based 501(c) 3 Non Profit, was formed. In keeping in line with our mission, "We are the voice for those who cannot speak and we are doing for them what they cannot do for themselves." LNPB is an all breed rescue specializing in seniors and pets with special needs and when possible we step in when all hope has been lost of the animal being pulled to safety. LNPB does not board any of our rescued animals. All of our rescues are immediately vetted and placed in the care of loving foster homes until such time as they are adopted or long term hospice foster care for our terminally ill seniors. We are here making every effort to assure that we "Leave No Paws Behind" as we continue to every effort to save lives. We are people helping people helping paws and together we make the impossible possible and we move that unmoveable mountain.♥ tw, LNPB
Description
Leave No Paws Behind is a 501 (c) 3 non profit corporation governed by the laws of the State of California. We are an all breed rescue, specializing in seniors and pets with special needs. When possible we step up, most times in the "11th" hour when all hope is gone, to help save the lives of those that are in most danger of being left behind to die on a cold shelter floor. LNPB provides hospice care, comfort, love and a safe haven for the terminally ill and the hard core cases and we try to assure that no senior animal is left to die alone wondering. LNPB will never board a rescued animal. Upon rescue, LNPB immediately has all of our rescues vetted. LNPB never determines the outcome or diagnosis of our rescues, we simply pull and rescue them and then take them immediately to the vets. Those with minor and treatable medical needs and disabilities per diagnosis from the Doctor's are then placed in the loving care of fosters until they are adopted. LNPB's more serious medically challenged rescues such as seniors who may suffer with terminal and/or severe mobility medical conditions as diagnosed by the Doctor's, are placed in loving hospice/long term foster care for as long as needed. From time to time, and when deemed necessary by our Doctor's diagnosis, due to severe pain and suffering, we have the sad task of helping our beloved animals cross the rainbow bridge. We are with them, holding and loving them in the end as they peacefully pass quietly in our arms. We do not hesitate to pull the terminally ill or the ones the shelter will inevitably PTS due to sickness and inability to walk as we cannot bear having them die alone, frightened and sadly wondering. We are doing for our four legged friends what they cannot do for themselves. We are their voice and we we will continue saving lives one paw a time as we make every effort to assure we Leave No Paws Behind. LNPB relies solely on public donations, no amount is to small and all amounts benefit the health and well fare of abused and abandoned animals and are tax deductible.
