07/11 Benn Perry, Past Due

Benn Perry the Screenwriter and Co-Producer for the upcoming film "PAST DUE!" joins the show!

Right this second, in countless cities and small towns throughout the world, someone is being intimidated by a bill collector.

"PAST DUE!" is the story of one such relentless collector who will stop at nothing in order to bring the money in to the collection agency where he works; even if it means breaking the law.

Besides being highly entertained, the movie going public will gain valuable information that will ensure that THEY will NEVER fall prey to the likes of anyone as determined or demented as Ray Weaver.

For three decades, author Benn Perry strove to help people get out of debt.  His award-winning Escape From the Plastic Prison is a practical guide to getting YOURSELF out of debt.

In it, he describes the credit and collection game from the inside out, and illustrates in more than a few instances how that industry became the inspiration for writing "PAST DUE!"

Perry's passion is forever centered on doing whatever he can to help people, which is why, as the National Director of Credit Counselors Corporation, he appeared as a guest on the Oprah Winfrey Show on October 19, 1989, "Black Monday!" - to throw a fiscal lifeline to those millions of viewers who tuned in and truly needed the help that his counseling agency provided as a FREE consumer service.

Benn can relate to the common man and woman who will go see his film, "PAST DUE!" because he has always happily maintained "I've always looked at myself as just a regular guy!"
